Historic Opera Guild Home

This New Orleans Garden District mansion was formerly known as the Davis/Seebold Residence and became the home of the New Orleans Opera Women’s Guild in 1966.  The home was built in 1865 and is available for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, dinners, luncheons, coffees, teas, and beautiful social events.  Tours are also available.

Rental of the home  provides income for the support of the New Orleans Opera Association, a non-profit professional company that is proud to carry on a rich tradition of great opera in New Orleans. Since 1796, opera has been an integral part of the musical legacy of the Crescent City; today, New Orleans Opera Association is one of the city’s leading performing arts institutions, with a mainstage season of grand opera and extensive education and outreach programming for the greater New Orleans region.
